Meet Your Therapist

About Me

Hello! I'm Nikki Stephens, a marriage and family associate therapist in Oregon, practicing under the supervision of Daniel Rothenberg, LCSW. I’m a cisgender, heterosexual woman of Jewish-Middle Eastern descent. While I've worn glasses since I was a baby, I am otherwise abled-bodied. I also identify as an immigrant, having moved to the United States from Israel at the age of 27.

A little about my journey: I grew up in Israel, and before settling in the U.S., I traveled extensively and studied in the United Kingdom. Like many, I've faced my own challenges with mental and physical health. Through these experiences, I discovered the transformative power of plant-based nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness, emerging stronger in my 30s. These practices continue to anchor the positive changes in my life.

In addition to my therapy practice, I've been coaching since 2015, helping clients navigate lifestyle changes, weight loss, emotional eating, sleep, self-care, relationships, career decisions, and more. My approach is direct yet infused with humor, compassion, and care. Having witnessed war and oppression in my homeland, I'm deeply committed to social change through therapy, and I'm passionate about empowering those traditionally marginalized by the dominant culture.

On a personal note, I love staying active, creating healthy and delicious meals, meditating, gardening, and spending time in nature—whether it's swimming in the ocean or hiking in the mountains. Recently, I married my partner, and we share our home with two dogs and a cat. We both enjoy hosting dinner parties and cherishing time with our friends.

Thank you for considering me as part of your journey toward healing and transformation. I'm eager to meet you and explore how I can support you in reaching your goals.
